Please load the attached release firmware (2.8.4547), test config and audio parameter file (via the /modulecomms.html webpage) and then test for echo. Attached files are: uImage = firmware 2.8.4547 v3_pe_250_14.dat = FPGA v1.4 for v3 PCB v6_pe_250_14.dat = FPGA v1.4 for v6 PCB app.ldr = Bootloader v11 It is very important to load the correct FPGA file – you can tell the PCB version from the current FPGA version (it will show something like 1.0, PCBv3 or 1.0, PCBv6.1). This will set the following: a. MC55i audio parameters 5509 b. MC55i audio mode (SNFS) 2 c. OneStream FXS echo canceller on for all calls d. OneStream GSM echo canceller on for all calls Using this setup with our worst case test scenario eliminates virtually all echo. If you are still experiencing significant echo please go to the /modulecomms.html webpage and get the response to the following commands: AT^SNFS? AT^SBNR=”AUD” The attached firmware (2.8.4547) also includes the option to change the FXS ring frequency (it is on the Advanced webpage). The full release notes are: 1. Added FXS Ring Frequency option 2. Added Signal Strength in dBm display 3. Fix for FXO Alarm not clearing 4. Updated GSM audio modes for improved echo cancellation 5. Added Audio Mode (SNFS) setting for all modules 6. Independent echo canceller enabling
